Educational Technology Coaching is one type of leadership schools are asking teachers to assume. In many schools Ed Tech Coaches have proven they can provide the kind of critical support essential to help peers integrate technology to enhance learning.

In this Learning Lab you will learn about the kind of roles successful coaches play, and define your roles as an Ed Tech Coach.  You will also learn about the ways coaches work to carry out these roles, and how this understanding can shape your work.   In addition, you will explore a template that you and your principal will use to design a coaching plan that defines what you do as a coach, who you work with, how you will measure your success, and the support you will need for successful coaching.

This Learning Lab is designed to help Ed Tech Coaches provide the kind of visionary leadership called for in the NETS•C Standards.   The Learning Lab is for K-12 educators in any subject area who want to become Educational Technology Coaches or strengthen their Coaching skills.
