The Coaching Academy is a series of self-paced modules.

While there is strong agreement that technology can make learning more effective, technology changes so rapidly that it is difficult for teachers to define what tool they can use to support learning.  One of the key roles of an Ed Tech Coach is to help teachers integrate technology to enhance learning.

This Learning Lab is designed to help Ed Tech Coaches assist peers to integrate technology effectively by helping coaches learn to define the educational tasks in specific learning activities.  In addition, participants will get hands on experience using these skills as they collaborate with a peer to identify key educational tasks in a learning activity and define the technology that best helps students complete these tasks and enhance learning.

This Learning Lab will help Ed Tech Coaches to play a key role in shaping Digital Age Learning Environments, called for in the NETS•C Standards.   The Learning Lab is designed for K-12 educators in any subject area who want to become Educational Technology Coaches or strengthen their Coaching skills.
