Carolyn Sykora

Bio: Carolyn Sykora is the program director for ISTE’s Standards Department. She served on ISTE’s Standards Leadership Team during the revision of the entire suite of ISTE Standards, including the standards for students, teachers, administrators, technology coaches, technology directors, and computer science educators, from 2006 through 2012. She has also worked to develop resources and programs designed to increase the understanding and implementation of the standards, and she delivers standards-infused professional learning for face-to-face and online learning programs to classroom teachers, curriculum coordinators and technology coaches. Sykora directs ISTE’s relationship with the Council on the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), which has recently begun accrediting educator preparation programs outside of the United States.
