The Digital Citizenship Academy is a series of self-paced Modules.

Technology coaches have a responsibility to model and promote digital citizenship to teachers on a daily basis. Effective coaches require a thorough understanding of these strategies for achieving equitable access to digital resources and technology-related best practices for all students and teachers. With new digital technologies emerging each day, how can coaches model and facilitate the safe, healthy, legal and ethical use of digital information?

This course helps coaches work with administrators to build a digital citizenship program at the school or district level. The resources and projects in this course focus on promoting diversity, cultural understanding and global awareness by using digital age communication and collaboration tools. Upon completion, you’ll be equipped with an action plan for creating an entire digital citizenship professional learning program for your school or district.
