We'll share student examples of how combining these tools with Scratch and MakeCode can make physical computing accessible to a wide range of learners and actively engage students in creative computing and STEAM during and after the school day.

Bio: Rashmi is a mom of 2, educator, engineer, learning experiences designer, creative, consultant and program director with over 14 years of progressive experience in industry and PreK-16 education technology and building innovative STEAM+C programs. Her qualifications include developing, establishing and overseeing all aspects of STEAM, Robotics, MediaArts and Computer Science program development, curriculum design, and blended professional learning experiences for a PK-16 audience, schools districts and district leaders. Rashmi has presented nationally at ISTE, MassCUE, ScratchConference, CSTA, SIGITE, HiTec, LearnLaunch, Adobe YouthVoice and others. She is honored to serve on the Advocacy and Leadership Team for the ISTE's Computer Science Learning Network and on the Professional Learning Leadership Team for the MassCue. Rashmi holds multiple industry and K-16 educator certifications in Mathematics, MediaArts, Engineering, Computer Science, and several other technologies.
